Over a decade ago, Google has introduced Gmail, and their first cloud-native productivity app, this was introduced to make email safer and easier for everyone. Since then, Google has launched more ways for teams to collaborate in real-time products like Google Calendar, Docs, Drive, and Hangouts. Altogether, these apps make up G Suite and the set of intelligent, secure productivity and collaboration tools. For the first time, Google is raising prices for basic and business versions of the G-suite productive app, Gmail and Docs.
Google has brought businesses to help reproduce more than a dozen new G Suite services how they work, including powerful video conferencing (safe), secure team messaging (Hangout chat) and enterprise-grade Search capabilities (Cloud Search) are included. Google have transmitted our products with advanced artificial intelligence so that it can be easier to respond to emails, collect information from the data and use them to prevent phishing attacks.
Today, more than four million organizations use the G-suite to cooperate efficiently and safely, and analysts have taken notice. IDC’s Wayne Kurtzman said, “Google has established G Suite as a secure, enterprise-ready, AI-powered and collaborative platform. With a comprehensive set of capabilities, G Suite offers customers a strong value proposition.”
In the last ten years, G Suites has evolved to provide more equipment, functionality, and value to help businesses change their way of working. The one thing that has not changed at this time is the price. Now, Google had announced two incremental list price updates to reflect this value. Starting on April 2, 2019, the G-suite Basic Version will increase $1 (from $5 to $6 per user/month) and the G-suite Business Version $ 2 (from $ 10 to $ 12 per user/month), or local currency equivalent where applicable. These increases will be applicable globally with local market adjustment for some areas. G suite will not change pricing for customers of Enterprise Edition.
For existing G-suite Basic or Business Edition customers on Flexible Plan, the prices of the new list will be applicable on April 2, 2019. For customers on the Annual Plan, new prices will be applicable for the first time when their plan starts fresh or after April 2, 2019. These changes will not affect the current contracts or any renewal prior to April 2, 2019.
Additionally, for customers of Basic and Business Edition who receive their bill from Google, will receive an email with specific details for their domain which will be after February 28, 2019. Any customer that has licensed G Suite through a reseller, should listen to their partners directly about new pricing, or they can reach their partners accurately.
