Quality Assurance Analyst / QA Tester – Websites / Tester / Website Tester / Software Tester (Web & UI)
We are looking for a QA Analyst/Website Tester to ensure the quality and functionality of websites before launch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, identifying defects, and working closely with developers to enhance the overall user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional, usability, and performance testing of websites.
- Identify and document bugs, errors, and inconsistencies.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Test website speed, security, and responsiveness.
- Provide clear feedback to developers and track issue resolution.
- Verify compliance with design and user experience standards.
- Suggest improvements for website functionality and user experience.
Requirements:
- Experience in website testing, QA, or a related role.
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing tools.
- Familiarity with different browsers, devices, and operating systems.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to report findings effectively.
Testing Tools Candidates Should Be Familiar With:
- Selenium – Automated functional testing
- JMeter – Performance and load testing
- Postman – API testing
- BrowserStack / Sauce Labs – Cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Lighthouse – Website performance and SEO testing
- Google PageSpeed Insights – Speed and optimization testing
- WAVE / axe Accessibility Checker – Accessibility testing
- TestRail / Zephyr – Test case management
- Bugzilla / JIRA – Bug tracking and issue management
Preferred:
- Experience with CI/CD tools for automated testing.
- Knowledge of security testing tools like OWASP ZAP.
